As part of its ongoing efforts to engage with key industry stakeholders, a team from NUR School of Management Sciences visited JS Bank for a strategic dialogue on graduate employability and industry-academia collaboration on August 1st, 2025. The delegation comprised Dr. Muhammad Osama Nasim Mirza (Associate Dean Academic & HOD NUR School of Management) and Mr. Ibrahim Ali Shah (Lecturer), who met with Mr. Yasir Ali Khan, Regional Sales Manager.

The conversation focused on the growing disconnect between the preparedness of recent business graduates and the expectations of the corporate sector. Mr. Yasir emphasized the importance of targeted, skill-based training and expressed support for structured learning interventions. The NUR team shared upcoming initiatives planned for the summer semester, including discussion forums and free training workshops aimed at bridging this gap. Mr. Yasir appreciated and accepted the invitation to the Discussion Forum and showed willingness to nominate his team for participation.
