Nutritional Science encompasses the study of Human Body, Food, Nutrition, Diseases and Nutrition Care Process. It involves the understanding of how food interacts with the body. Nutritional Sciences does not only cater clinical side but also deals with Community Nutrition and Food & Nutrition services.
It is a four years professional program of 120 credit hours over 8 consecutive semesters.
- 12 years of formal education FSc. /A level or equivalent with Biology
- Minimum 50% marks at intermediate level or equivalent
- Equivalence certificate from IBCC in case of O/A level
Yes, you can apply before announcement of intermediate result. Your admissions status would be provisional till submission of your intermediate result.
You can work as a Nutritionist/Dietitian and take control of the food intake and also the food quality consumed by the people. Nutritionists help people discover the best diets for their needs.
