Ms. Sadia Tahira is working as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department at department of Speech & Language Pathology, Nur International University and Consultant Speech & Language Pathologist at Fatima Memorial Hospital. She received her BSc (Hons) Speech & Language Pathology degree from University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore and got 2 medals in her graduation and did her MS (Complete eighteen years of education) in Speech & Language Pathology from Riphah International University (RIU) in 2015. In October, 2016 Ms. Sadia Tahira joined Nur International University. She did her internship in Speech & Language Therapy Section of Rehabilitation Medicine Department of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore in 2012. She did her clinical training from different well known institutes/hospitals (CMH, Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Hamza Foundation Academy for the Deaf, Fatima Memorial Hospital). She joined FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences in August 2012 and has been actively involved in teaching and clinical Speech Therapy Department of Fatima Memorial Hospital and Institute of Allied Health Sciences. Her clinical and academic interests are in teaching/dealing speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders, therapeutic exercises & techniques and speech therapy assessment as well as treatments. She has proven effective in strengthening students teaching/clinical so that within last 10 years, Speech & Language Pathology students achieved multiple UHS top positions and numerous UHS distinctions in their professional examinations. She is a UHS appointed internal examiner, external examiner, paper setter, paper assessor and auditor in various Speech & Language Pathology Subjects. She has a strong clinical background and a clinical supervisor from last 10 years. She presented her research papers in different national and international conferences and attended numerous workshops, seminars, conferences, and webinars.
