The undergraduate program in Applied Psychology develops students’ skills to bridge psychological theory, research, and practice. Over the four years of this degree, they will gain an understanding of various psychology subfields, including developmental, social, community, and counseling, as well as have opportunities to engage in research and practice with the department’s renowned faculty and in field placements. Students will gain insights into the theory and practice of clinical psychology, engage with contemporary debates in the field and acquire professional skills necessary for further training.

Our program offers a range of modules bringing together diverse perspectives in psychology. It is aimed to foster a multidisciplinary approach with an emphasis on the intersection of Biological, Psychological and Sociological factors. The core degree modules provide students with the opportunity to build a firm foundation in theoretical perspectives on mental health and illness, diagnosis, assessment and therapeutic intervention.

BS APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY WITH MINOR IN BUSINESS STUDIES

This program combines the art and science of Psychology with useful and practical Business Applications to improve the work environment for employees and productivity for employers. After completing a BS Degree with a major in Psychology and minor in Business studies, students will be able to opt for a career in Business/Organizational Psychology, which is one of the highest paying field all over the world. They will be able to work in national as well as multinational organizations, banks and corporate sector, health sector, and education sector in the areas of Training and Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, Advertising and Marketing, Sales, Guidance and Counseling, coaching as well as opt for private practice.
