WHAT Is BS Operation Theatre Technology
The Operation Theater Technology program has been designed to focus in the field of operation theater management, medical ethics, anesthesia technology, post operation care. During an operation, various equipment’s, anesthesia and instrument are involved. A four years degree program aimed at training students in the technological spheres and build a good scientific foundation. The graduates will work as a competent, dependable technologist in the operating room alongside other members of a health-care team.

OPERATION THEATRE TECHNOLOGY
PROGRAM EDUCATION OBJECTIVES (POs)
Within 4 years of graduation, OTT graduates will be able to:
1. Apply evidence-based perioperative practices and critical thinking to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting modern operation theater equipment, anesthesia machines, and surgical instruments in compliance with national and international standards.
3. Uphold professional ethics, patient safety, confidentiality, and legal responsibilities in all aspects of operation theater and perioperative practice.
4. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and healthcare teams, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure clinical environments.
5. Implement infection prevention, sterilization, disinfection, and aseptic techniques to minimize surgical site infections and promote a safe operation theater environment.
6. Contribute to community health awareness and emergency preparedness, including trauma care, life support, and disaster response initiatives.
7. Pursue continuous professional development, research, specialization, and higher education to adapt to advancements in surgical technology and perioperative care.

• The fees and related charges are subject to revision at any time against non-proportionate inflation or an increase in the cost of the provision of services
• Additional Per Credit Hour Fee will be charged for Summer Semester or separate course offered during the normal tenure to meet the deficiency requirement
