This a practical application course to develop and/or enhance skills of professional teachers, administrative working in schools (Principals / Vice Principals) working in Educational Institutions. The learning strategy has been formed in two categories:
- Theoretical portion
- Practice portion
Candidates will require participating fully in both domains to get the basic and applied both propositions. Every class will base on participative learning methodology.
Week 1: Introduction to School Psychology, Goals, Methodology and Road Map
Week 2: Application of Behavioral Principles to Educational Settings, Understanding Students and their issues to be focused, Physical & Mental Health Development, Problems &
Solutions, Practice and case studies
Week 3: Psychological Assessments for Students (Intelligence tests, Behavioral Assessments, Personality Assessment, Neuro-Psychological Assessments, Curriculum-Based Assessments)
Week 4: Teacher focused intervention in Schools Psychology, Basic Principles and application, Appointment criterion, Training & Development of Teachers
Week 5: Role of Students’ Families in their school performance, Family Development Programs, Motivational Strategies
Week 6: Organizational Development of Educational Institution, Developing visionary school systems, Designing road map and role map to achieve result-oriented institutional culture, Role of Administrator
Week 7 & 8: Practice & Exercises
- Learn the Basic knowledge of School Psychology, its theories & principles
- Learn the Application of School Psychology to understand the students and basic principles of grooming focusing their physical & mental development
- Learn the effectiveness of Psychological Assessments for students and teachers
- Learn the Capacity-building strategies for teachers and designing systematic and visionary trainings
- Learn principles and application of organizational development for school set up
- Understand the Application of School Psychology principles to real school set up
- Understand how systematically designed curriculums and goal-oriented developed and trained teachers can play an effective role in the life enrichment of students
- Understand the essentials of Students’ physical and mental growth issues and their relevance to their school performance
- Understand the role of family support and training in students’ grooming and performance
- Understand the application of organizational psychology to develop a result-oriented school administrative system

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Bachelor Degree in any discipline with teaching experience in school.
