Dr. amna Iram, Assistant Professor 

M.B.B.S, M Phil Physiology

In November 2016, Dr Amna Iram joined FMH/NUR International University as Assistant Professor of Physiology department. She has served as lecturer in university of Lahore and in Riphah international university. During her graduate and post-graduate training, she investigated the  role of INSL3 novel hormone in female with PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome).Her work has bridged several disciplines, departments and institutes, including physiology, cell biology, and  research. She is an emerging leader in new, exciting aspects of the molecular physiology of reproductive function and cell signaling; with strong relevance for understanding basic mechanisms of endocrine function. Additionally, to achieve her research goals, she utilized state-of-the-art imaging, as well as biophysical and biochemical technologies in her research work.

She has becoming an actively involved faculty member in post graduate diploma in teaching methodology classes at Riphah international university.

In NUR international university she organized polycystic ovarian disease awareness seminar in growing age female group on 5th May 2017, also organized Annual physiology seminar on EFFECT OF RIGHT AND LEFT BRAIN DOMINANCY ON LEARNING STYLE AND PERSONALITY on 7 May 2018

She won second prize in first international photography and arts festival with focus on Physiology as DPT second semester(NIU) student’s supervisor which was in association with south Asian association of Physiologists (SAAP) and international union of physiological societies’ (IUPS) in university of Lahore.

She attended medical education workshops on strategic vision ,communication skills ,blooms taxonomy ,basics of assessment and developing tos ,developing mcq, seq,and saq development and item analysis ,relative grading ,difficult students ,item analysis ,small and large group teaching techniques ,stress management ,psychometrics held  in NUR international university Lahore
