In November 2021, Dr Asia Atta was allocated as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, NIU Lahore. Previously, she also had a teaching and research experience from different national institutes. She also had supervised 2 M.Phil students and won a research project funded by HEC as well during that period. Moreover, She also has good writing and communication skills and well aware with scientific literature. She has published several research articles in Peer Reviewed HEC Recognized Journals, with and without impact factor.

She has been teaching several courses to BS and M.Phil. classes at NIU.
