2012- BS (hons) Medical Lab Technology from The Children’s Hospital & The Institute of Child Health, Lahore

In March, 2021 Ms. Shamaila Habib joined Nur International University.

She has served as a Ph.D. and M.Phil. Trainee in UHS. Her area of focus has been Medical Lab Technology.

She has been engaged in teaching and training of students about basic and Advanced Molecular Pathology techniques and Cytogenetics, helping out Mphil students in their research.

She has been working as a Consultant Molecular Biologist at Punjab AIDS Control Program.

As a Medical Lab Technologist she served Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital & Research Centre for 1 .5 years.

She has conducted 1st International conference on Medical Ethics “Ethics in Challenging Times” in the University of Health Sciences Lahore.

  1. Poster presentation of “Contribution of human APOBEC3 genes and HIV-1 sub-types specific mutations to the overall mutation rate of HIV-1” held on 30th March, 2017 in University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan
  2. Oral presentation on the topic of “Genetic Sex Assignment cases with Ambiguous Genitalia” held on 21st -22nd December, 2016 in the University of Wah, WahCantt, Pakistan.
  3. Oral presentation on the topic of “Angiotensinogen gene Met235Thr and Thr174Met polymorphisms in patients with Preeclampsia” held on 24th, 25th and 26th November, 2016 in the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan
  1. Abstract accepted and published on the topic of “Genetic Sex Assignment to cases with Ambiguous Genitilia” in “2nd Multi-Disciplinary Student Research Conference” held on 21st 22nd December, 2016 in the University of Wah, WahCantt, Pakistan.
