NUTRITION FOUNDATION COURSE FAQs

The Nutrition Foundation Course is a six-month program designed to provide students with practical experience in the field of Clinical Nutrition. It allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge and gain hands-on experience through direct interaction with patients.

The program is six months long and is conducted on a regular basis, with intakes in January and July.

Applicants should have a BS (Hons), MS, M.Phil., or Ph.D. in Food & Nutrition or Human Nutrition & Dietetics.

The course provides practical exposure in Clinical Nutrition, including interaction with indoor and outdoor patients, helping students enhance their professional skills in various areas of nutritional sciences.

This course equips students with practical skills and experience, making them self-sufficient in the field of Nutritional Sciences, and enhancing their employability as clinical nutritionists.

The program has two intakes each year, in January and July, allowing students flexibility in starting their practical training.
