Biography:

Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmad has joined NUR International University Lahore, as Professor and Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences on September 14, 2020. He has a PhD from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and Post Doctorate from Budapest, Hungary in Food Science and Technology. Prof. Dr. Mushtaq has more than 32 years of teaching, training and research and development experiences in various universities and research organization. He also has served as the Director, ORIC, Academics and QEC in addition to his duties as the Professor in these universities. 

Prof. Dr. Mushtaq has 79 research papers, published in various national and international peer reviewed journals and also has developed 16 Research Reports and Operation Manuals. During the period from 2010-2013, he also has worked as the Member National Agriculture Experts Panel, in the project conducted by Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) and developed the policies on food and  nutrition, agriculture and livestock management with reference to the Government of Pakistan Vision 2025 and submitted a comprehensive report. Prof. Dr. Mushtaq also has organized 24 National Level Seminars, Workshops and Training Programs at various occasions during his career. The area of expertise are Clinical Nutrition, Food Malnutrition and Health Issues, Food Safety and Security, Food Quality Management and Food Processing and Preservation Techniques.
